Yeah, it's two tracks. One panned hard left, and one panned hard right. I couldn't hear the metronome all that well, so the tracks probably don't sync up all that well. I need to find some good backing tracks.
Ha ha, you're kiding right?! That effect (the sound of a delayed part playing in only one of the channels, right or left) is a technique used by many and adds nice thickness to the guitar track. If you did this by accident you did great!! I record with Reaper and there is a time delay plug included that lets you do this with one track and delays it in either one or both of the channels. Really adds thickness.

"There's no substitute. especially with the competive factory options these days! Sure there's build quality shortcomings of HDs, ( like all machines) but nothing looks, sounds, and rides like a HD..it remains the standard for all "superior" knock offs..and they hold their value like no other."

Thank you, I'll take my Honda or Ducatti

I think it was around 2 (9 oclock). Pretty loud, but not band practice loud.

Marshalls rule man. I re-tweaked my Bogner to emulate my Marshall rig. It's a beefed up, hairy version of it. Even with the Bogner's gain at 50%..it doesn't come close to the Marshall's crisp, definition..but it does have the low end "balls" Marshalls do kinda lack, in comparison. But I don't care much about "low end" these days..that th bass players role. I'm all about the right timbre, and mids to crunch the fuck out and "cut" for palm muting, and effortless, singing solos. That's where Marshalls truly OWN all IMO!!!!

It's full circle man. Marshalls are like the Harley Davidson of amps. Yeah there's so-called beefier, stronger, better built, faster, and yada yada yada like Big Dogs, CMCs, SAVs, and high dollar customs ect. My dad's been there done for 50+ years and went back where he started ..Harleys...The real deal. There's no substitute. especially with the competive factory options these days! Sure there's build quality shortcomings of HDs, ( like all machines) but nothing looks, sounds, and rides like a HD..it remains the standard for all "superior" knock offs..and they hold their value like no other..just like Marshalls do. No matter what models.

I think this is a perfect anaolgy IMO. They are investments that bring years of joy and get your money back whenever you wish..as long as you take care of them. It's money in the bank..you'' never take a beating or a major loss!

As far as mere loos..nothings better than Marshall stacks and Harleys..they are the tried and true american standards! TIMELESS!!!

                    I'm fuggin' floatin'..time to eat!!!
One of em's a "British" standard! So my DSL-50 held it's value great

I try not to buy anything new, and if I do, I'll get it on sale, or close-out, or something like that. Resale is a big reason for that. Not that I'm into buying gear, and selling it soon after, but it's nice to know that you can recoup the money you spent, or at least most of it, if you do have to sell for whatever reason. When I bought my Crate BV120, I got it on sale for $899 (Canadian) which was around $400 cheaper than the regular price. I just sold it, and fortunately got $500 for it, I still lost a bunch of money on it, but it could have been worse. Crates have crappy resale value anyway.

I bought my B-52 brand new, but only because they had only just come out, and there weren't any used ones available yet. Besides, it was cheap as hell at $599, so I didn't really have much to lose.

I see a lot of guys on forums buying high dollar amps brand new, and we're talking Diezels, Bogners, Soldanos, Riveras, Framus, etc., and they end up selling them a couple months later to get the next trendy thing to come along. Imagine the loss they take on this stuff. Even if I had money to burn, I simply wouldn't do that.

Zeeg, you are a man after my own heart. I rarely buy new, anymore, and always look for the deals. After years of getting soaked on trade-in values, and deals, I decided to take a different approach. Yeah, I'm envious of the guys that can afford to drop major coinage on a brand new Bogner, but, at the end of the night, my gear is getting a pretty good bang for it's buck.

Excellent Marshall tone Zeegs. Used is indeed the way to go. The only big music purchase I didn't make used was my Mesa 20/20. Those suckers are tough to find used for a reasonable price.
