Straycat - that JX-3 must be pretty rare. Did you get it new or did you find it somewhere in your gear hunts?

I am so fed up with cheap rack cases breaking on me I am going all out and getting this for Xmas from aands. My setup is rack everything including poweramps and I have a all rack bass rig so I have to use a 20 spacer and all the budget ones broke on me...

I finally added more to my rack just last week. The Furman power conditioner was getting lonely. Picked up a Rane ME-15B and BBE 422 Sonic Maximier for cheap. Still playing with it all figuring things out.

My small rack. LOL Half-space Boss SE-50 stereo effects processor, on top of a Carvin V3 and a Randall 2x12/1x15 cab.

OK here you go still in the works and looking for a Mesa or VHT power amp.The ADA microtube 100 sounds killer but needs more bottom end punch of a tube amp.

Hey Toejam, for a digital unit that SE-50 is really old, isn't it? I seem to remember drooling over that model when I had an ME-10 back in the mid 90s.

Yeah, it is pretty old (I think it came out around 1990). I bought it from another forum member last year, I believe. It still sounds and works great.

Oops, forgot about this thread. You know, most guitar effects are pretty simple and have been the same for the past 20+ years and perhaps except a for more bits and a higher sampling rate, the units are pretty much the same. Of course some more complicated stuff is now possible that wasn't possible back then, like amp modeling and intelligent pitch shifters, but most of that stuff is pretty esoteric anyway.

My rack is going to be so awesome that it will need its own thread. Just an FYI me and Jim from A&S cases designed a new version of the Kris Kraft that was so awesome it will debut at NAMM this year and will set the standard for road cases in the future. I am not BS'ing you guys will shit when I finally get pics posted of it.

I ran my ideas of what I wanted in a Rack case and Jim at A&S put my ideas to paper and improved upon them. Some of the features were a plexi glass door and a adjustable rail so you can set the recess how deep you want for the front and rear rails. This thing is awesome. I promise I will post pics soon.
