  • what order would YOU guys have my pedals in ?

    after a bit of trial and error, I've finished up with ...

    guitar => TU-2 => SD-1 => BD-2 => HF-2 => DD-6 => CE-5 => 2 amps

    reading around the subject, I've got them in the 'wrong' order, I 'should' have the last 3 delay based pedals at the start of the chain.
    I like the TU-2 at the start, so it gets a clean signal, and I use it to cut the signal to the rest of the path when I'm not playing
    I like the HF-2 to get an overdriven signal cause I get a more extreme flange that way
    I'm thinking about swapping the DD-6 and CE-5, so I have a stereo chorus into stereo delay into stereo out, just haven't tried it yet

    If that was YOUR pedal board, what order would you guys have them in ?

              Horizontal chain won't work for me, I'll have to go vertical.

              Code:

                                          Guitar
                                             |
                                          TU-2

                  Is he doing the CE-5 in stereo out to two amps? If so, the DD-6 would only be on one amp channel or you would loose the stereo effect?

                  (edit: I've never been big into pedals, just guitar amp and a cord. I do have a Crybaby, an MT-2, a TS-10, and a MidiVerb 4 (i think) that get used next to never).

                    i think your order is fine.
                    try going to www.amptone.com and reading some articles to get an informed OPINION of signal flow.

                      yes, CE-5 to two amps, but the DD-6 is stereo in and out .. so it could go after the CE-5 no problem

                      and thanks guys, I appreciate the comments

                        Yeah swap the last two as said. How good does the hf2 sound by the way! My favourite chorus/flange/phaser pedal I've tried so far.
