ok the dimarzio evo bridge has turned up today and i have it sitting in front of me, but i've got a problem already lol....

Double rows of allen key heads... underneath made in USA blah blah and then at the bottom an F etched in the steel. Wire coming out of the opposite corner.. Which way round does it go?? F Closest to the bridge or other way round where wire exits?

Well i've wired it in correctly, but somethings wrong somewhere, because i get a buzz which stops when i touch the bridge or tone/vol pot. I've checked everything and been faffing about with it for an hour now and my patience is wearing thin!
The buzz isnt to do with the evo installation, it started happening the other night after i stripped the pickguard and then later put everything back on.

            Anyone got any ideas?

It's a grounding issue. The bizzing is stopping when you touch it because it's grounding through you.
Check your wiring diagram, making sure you have it grounded/earthed correctly.
