This DVD + the GT-10 forum has helped me allot understanding the GT-10.

Some people make it look so easy.

that is pretty cool. You get a lot of effects for the price of about 5 stomp boxes. Do you run it all in the effects loop? Does the distortion plug into the line in? How does it compare to the expensive rack setups that so many drool over?

I love my GT-10 so much that I bought two. Very steep learning curve, but a very rewarding piece of gear and probably the best value of anything guitar related I've ever bought. Just the loop and the ability to connect a drum machine and add to the loop, create a pseudo-bass patch to add to the loop, etc. is totally awesome and that's a tiny bit of its capabilities. I run mine into the effects loops return of my Randall MTS RM50 combo and it sounds great.

My question is... what amp and setup did he use? I only see a Roland amp behind him.

I use 2 KC-100 Keyboard amps for stereo.
Some people use a JC-120 in stereo.
Some use the 4-cable method using the amps send/return.
Some plug into a power amp then to a cab.
Some plug straight into the amp.
