Two headed late 80's Marshall 3005 Lead 12

I have a Marshall 3005 Lead 12 with two heads...

I saw a thread on here that someone suggested putting in the chip or desired part from the Tube Screamer pedal....

Now I can't seem to find the thread...

Is this doable?
