what tubes do do you guys recomend?

hi all, i am needing to replace the valves/tubes in my amp and i would like some info on whats the best to go for.
i play metal 99% off the time and i know i want cryo treated ones, i was told mesa tubes are the best but i dont realy belive that,

What sort of amp do you have? It sounds like you may have a Mesa of some sort, but it would be really helpful to know that.

And are you looking to replace the preamp tubes, the power tubes or both?

Well, Mesa has a pretty good testing system, which may weed out some potentially week/prone to fail tubes, but I think they are using tubes made in China, like most everyone else.

They can be pricey, but I use them (for better or worse).

tungsols high gains are pretty good checkout tube depot for them

Ive had some very good luck with Tung Sols for the 12ax7 and Gold Lion KT88s for the power section in my RM100

its a randall RG50tc 50w combo, takes two 5881 power tubes and Four 12AX7EH’s
