Greenbacks and what?????

What speakers would compliment Celestion Greenbacks in a 4x12 cabinet? I think I heard the Vintage 30's and T-75's would overpower the Greenbacks.

Any comments?

The Vintage 30 is 60 watts and the G12T-75s are 75 watts. The G12H is a good match at 30 watts. http://professional.celestion.com/gu...etail.asp?ID=7

i wouldn't worry about that. the impedance matching is far more important that the wattages. in the end its all about "how does it sound to you".

Billy Duffy from the Cult would say T-75s. (he used a full stack of greenbacks and a full stack of T-75s, or one cab of each in smaller venues.)

Avatar Speakers sells more Greenback/Vin 30 combos than anything else.

True. The higher wattage would probably be kind of cancelled out by the lower wattage speakers anyway. As long as your amp isn't putting out more wattage than all the speakers together can handle, then all will be fine.
