    Introducing...The Poor/Cheap Bastard's Amp Setup...

Mesa Boogie SOB - $300 (with Anvil case too!)
Laney AOR 50 - $125 (after $125 settlement with FedEx for dropping it )
Epi Valve Jr - $99 (currently being moded)
    Jackson JX-3 Preamp - $150
    Fender 2 x 10 cab - $125
    Jackson 4 x 12 cab - $125
    Pro Former 4 x 12 cab - $325 (with Celestion 75's)
    Avatar 4 x 12 cab - $150 (with new Warehouse speakers - Celestion clones)

$1400 for enough volume to get me thrown out of my house - the SOB hits all the 70's tones I need, and the Laney hits every thing from the 80's. No need for anything else, as I stopped listening to anything recorded after 1987...

And no - you can't come over for a game of Operation or Gnip Gnop...

That Boogie looks cool as hell......a real vintage piece of art.

The Jackson cab looks pretty mean too.

Funny thing is, I bought it from a guy that was Eddie Money's guitarist back in the late 70's/early 80's (Jimmy Lyon)...it was his backup amp...as a result, it was mint when I bought it in 1983, and I think I have about 20 hours on it tops in 26 years...but it still sounds awesome, even though I'd SWEAR I'd would have had to re-cap it by now...the Jackson sounds pretty good, but the Eminences in there aren't nearly as good as the Celestions in my other cabs...

And Shawn, coming from you and that insane setup YOU have, I'll grant an exception...although NO GNIP GNOP! :ROTF:
