Fender Roc Pro 1000 issue (or not?)

I have a Fender Roc Pro 100. I just installed a new tube in it. I don't remember what it sounded like last time I used it (over 2 years ago) but when I shut it off it makes a powerful pop noise through the speakers. Is that normal?

yes. a trick with the roc pro is to unplug the guitar cord just slightly from the amp and use it like a standby switch.
