  • Favorite type of pedal.

Not brand of pedal, but type of pedal (disortion, wah, flanger etc......)

Without question, my favorite is an envelope filter.

I can get the coolest sounds out the damn thing. I don't really know what application it would have in most situations, but I don't care. It just makes any song you play with it sound so damn different, but in a cool way.

I've used wah pedals and this thing is close, but incredibly different as well, because the pick attack is so damn pronounced with an envelope filter. That is what really makes this pedal shine. The harder the pick strikes the strings, the more the effect is utilized.

I don't really know how to explain it any better, I just know that it is waaaaaay cool!!

I have a lot of different pedal "types" that I like, but I have one of the original Whammy pedals, and that's gotta top the list for me.

All I need is distortion and a delay.
I currently use a Boss delay and the Marshall Jackhammer.

I dont like the boss delays they have too much noise for me so I switched over to the digitech hardwire series problem solved. I know you can buy "MODS" for the boss pedals but I just didnt want to mess with it.

I don't like the boss pedal either, but always use my money on a new guitar, so I rarely buy pedals. I have now though. Bought me a Damage Control Demonizer. Had to try it out.

                          No pedal?

If I had to choose I'd say delay.
