Crate 4X12 cab

Found an older Crate 4X12 slant cab today for $50.00 it weighs a ton.
Pretty decent shape too speakers really suck but I'll remedy that.
Birch frame which suprized me I thought it would be some cheezy material like "mother of wood".
Anyone here have one?

I have an older one with a silver boxy crate logo on it. The cab is actually a bit bigger than my recto cab. It rocks though. I have had it since the late 80's and if you put decent speakers in them they sound really good. The older ones are all birch construction and are bargains. The Grill cloth is cheap and so is the tolex.
