  • New Amp for me!

    I bought myself a Randall T2

It's so awesome. 400 watts of awesomeness. The clean channel has so much headroom that it never distorts, the crunch channel starts with a low gain 'plexi' kind of thing right up to a Soldano high gain/old school Randall thing then the boost goes over the edge for a very tight modern distortion, think a boosted 5150.

Midi controller, fx loop and direct output. I wish I bought this sooner

Pictures of it with my other gear will come later today

Looks cool. 400 watts?? ..Is that a hybrid with a tube preamp. If one crosses my path I'll try it.

    Congrats.

      Cool, congrats

Some of Randall's new amp designs (esp the signature series) look very interesting...

I've heard great things about the T2 and V2. I've seriously considered picking one up. I bet it's fantastic for super tight aggressive riffing.

Those amps look mean! I've yet to see any of their newer ones (except the lower KH sig model) locally to even think about trying.

That's right Bill. 400 watt Mosfet poweramp, it's got a valve(tube) in the poweramp to give it a more valve like response but a full valve preamp.

I don't even need a boost with the amp as it's so tight and aggressive on its own
