Cool fuzz boxes

What fuzz boxes you guys dig the most?

I'm looking for something really nasty and ballsy.

Z.Vex Woolly Mammoth has caught my attention, it's for bass and guitar.

I also dig their Fuzz Factory as it has many options.

I had a Fuzz Factory a couple years ago - my favorite Fuzz pedal on the planet - it will do any fuzz sound you want - especially my favorite hissy, spitty, sputtery fuzz.

The only problem with it is once you find a sound - write it down, because once you twist a knob - its gone.

I also have a Fulltone Octafuzz that's pretty cool - but pretty tame in comparison to teh Fuzz Factory. Its got a pretty "distortion-y" kind of sound - not too fuzzy. Perfectly usable.

I still like my Big Muff Pi.

But I do have my eye on maybe grabbing a Seymour Duncan Tweak Fuzz. SD is coming out with some really cool fuckin shit lately.

If I had the $$ I would have one of eahc of the entire lineup of their pedals. All of them sound kickass.

Agree on the Fuzz Factory...it does it all. I only sold mine because it was a limited edition (Red Reverse) and I got stupid money for it...plus I rarely use fuzz.

Like Grandturk mentioned, touch a knob and everything changes...I don't recommend it for live rigs without marked settings.
