  • PC1 Adrenalize and Blackstar HT-5

Reb Beach started endorsing the Blackstar HT-5.

Its a 2-channel 5 watt tube amp with fx loop, speaker emulation headphone jack, and ISF feature that lets you blend USA and UK amp tones.

Channel 1 is really bland but Channel 2 gets you great high-gain tone at extremely low volumes.

    Here are some clips:

I'd love one of those Blackstar mini stacks, they look awesome.
Awesome PC-1 too mate. You did a decent solo on "Promises" too!

I was looking into these for awhile now, but these clips have persuaded me!
I hooked up my accelerator pedal in my car to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

I'm not sure. I got the Hysteria one. But I already have all this stuff on both vinyl and CD, so I'm not really sure the extras are worth it. I don't listen to a lot of live stuff and that seems to be what the bonus stuff is on there.

I bought all the Jethro Tull Remasters because the sound quality was much improved over the old stuff, but they also put a lot of rare studio tracks on each one too.

So...I dunno. Probably, eventually, if it's cheap!
Adrenalize is possibly my favourite DL album, I love it.

I screwed around with a Blackstar head last weekend. It was really cool - especially for $300!!!

DUde, I'm so glad to hear that about Adrenalize. It doesn't get the props it deserves.

I own and use a Black Star HT5 with my San Dimas Type 2 and this amp is a superb match!
The only down side is lack of built in reveb but the overall sound from these is amazing!

I have one, and I like it quite a bit.

Not really enough for metal (IMO), but definitely good for Hard Rock and maybe some early metal stuff.

Cheap, looks cool, and sounds good

Link? Can't find any info on that either on the Blackstar site or Reb Beach's personal site.
