FWIW, I'm selling all of my power amps and almost all of my guitar traditional cabs and heads - if that tells you anything.
So Tim, you are doing Axe Fx --> self-powered FRFR?

      Tim,

I am pretty much dumping everything also. I sold most of my rack gear and currently have my uberschall, splawn nitro, and cabs on the market. Once one of those things sells I am going to get a set of FBT Verve 12ma monitors and make the complete switch.

      Insert annoying equipment list here....

Just did another gig last night with the Axe-FX rig. A well respected local blues player was there last night - he was off to the side where he couldn't see my rig. He gave out high praise for my guitar tone - he's a guy that plays a Fender amp with a handful of pedals. He couldn't believe what tone was coming out of a DSP.

About a half dozen musician buddies came out that had not heard me with my Axe-FX rig were very impressed with the tones - and these aren't guys that are going to pull any punches - in fact they can be too honest .
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

Yes - I'm using an FBT Verve 12ma for rehearsals and on stage. We run guitars direct - this is the best we've ever sounded.

On a side note, one thing that amazes me about the Axe-FX is that it really lets the tone of the guitar come through. With my MP-1s, all my guitars sounded a bit homogeneous no matter what I did.
