This morning I headed up to Ruston (3 1/3 hour drive) to meet Nick and pick up my new amp from him.
But first a story...
When I went up there last October to help with the Piney Bash, I noticed that he had my dream amp, a Hiwatt 100 head and matching cab. At the time I couldn't swing it, but told him I was interested.
So what does he do? He puts the amp away and holds it for me all this time. So I finally put the cash together to get this and he has it ready, waiting, and even cleaned up for me.
Needless to say he rocks immensely!!! Thanks to Nick for the great amp, great service, and a great visit today. Just felt bad I couldn't stay longer.
