Anyone familiar with the Roland R-8 drum machine? I recently inherited one and am not familiar with it at all. Can you guys give me some input as to your thoughts on the unit if you've used one?

It appears to be in good condition for the omst part, with a little scratch noise when the volume slide is moved. I am considering selling it, but if I can get it to work for me I may consider keeping it.

I have used one of these since the 90's.About the best drum machine ever made. Now the only problem is that computer programs have made it much easier and quicker to use that a drum machine.I say if you want a DM it's the best there is-keep it.If you use a computer to do drums or record-sell it.I think they go about $150 if I remember right.
