Good point... I actually wasn't trying to ape his tone. It was really more a comparison between the Dave Murray strat and another strat. I would have needed a hell of a lot of delay in there to match Dave's sound!

Status Quo managed to get some monster rockin' tones out of Telecasters back in the 70s and 80s.
