Really, either he's completely toasted, or it's taken a major toll on his playing. I've never been a big fan of COB but I always thought he was a good guitar player... He seems like he's slacking a shit tone lately.

btw why is everyone assuming that amp is even his? He's got the US version of his signature model, it's possibly he showed up and they had the gear there. he may not have dialed in it. there's a lot of things that could have gone on behind the scenes you never know. "Hey show up and when you get here we'll have a rig and one of your signature guitars all wired up and ready to go."

From what I've seen on video, the other dude in his band seems to be a better guitar player.

As far as his playing on this, it had nice riffing, the rhythym tone wasn't bad, but it was horrible for the lead. The keyboards are a little high in the mix for my tastes. I was just expecting the solo to be 'tastier' I guess.

I will say I'm happy he wasn't singing.

I immedietly noticed he wasn't wearing eye liner, too. Also, his hair seems to be blonde-ish again. I don't know, the playing just sounds sort of sloppy and not as tight as it should be. He's got tons of talent but I think he's slipping a little bit.
