I thought the video was fine. It did exactly what it was intended to do IMO.

Like I mentioned before, I really like this, I've listened to it quite a bit since it was posted. Keep up the good work man.

The next video must be shred. 39 minutes of pure shred. No bending, no vibrato, non stop constant shred.

EDIT : Nevermind, just read above response. Call us when you hire Michael Bay.

Just kidding. You do need a better quality camera though.
Well, when Michael is ready to work for $20 a day, I'll be ready to hire him.

And yeah, it's a cheap camera, but it serves my purposes for now. When it stops working, I'll buy another cheap camera.

And Mr. Shred, I'm working on a 45 minute shred opus. The video alone will literally melt your eyes and ears from all the pure shredness.

Seriously though, I just finished mixing another tune. Man, I love the Guitar Tracks Pro program. It's back to my electric rock, but it doesn't sound like Dokken! I'm currently scouting locations for the video shoot (edit: looking at vacant lots as I drive to work). Let's see, with a massive budget of $0, a cheap camera, and no hot girls to be in it, I'll do my best not to be too boring.

About 30 minutes for recording from several different angles, and about 2.5 hours for editing. Most of the time was taken up by trying to get timing of the video to match up to the timing of the recorded song. Each little clip had to be adjusted to the milisecond.

Did you adjust the syncing "by hand" or did you use a synchronization software for that?

I don't have any sync software, so it was all done manually. Actually, it wasn't too hard. When I recorded the video, the song was playing on a small ghetto blaster so the sound was recorded too. I just had to match up the audio from the video with the audio from the studio version. Then at the end, I just lowered the sound of the video all the way down to zero.
