I saw them in 2004.......it wasnt great. he was drunk. sure it was cool to see them, but his performance basically sucked. Sammy was amazing though. that fucker never stops moving. ever. over 2 hours and that fucker was just moving, jumping, singing, running. just crazy!!! he put on a great show.

That's what happened to me in 2004....after driving over six hours one way. He was in the wrong key 30 seconds into the first song,,,,and it only got worse. Won't happen again, cuz I ain't going. It's not VH to me anyway, anymore. Lost a lot of respect for Eddie also,,,,,you'd never see this disgrace at a show with Vai, Malmsteen, Satch, Beach, Demartini, etc. To me,,,he drove his once world class, highly regarded band and brand straight into the ground. It's just a messy collaboration of people coming in and out, and streaks of embarrassing shows due to his demons and inability to work with others. I can't believe his brother puts up with it and follows his destructive decisions. I think something went seriously wrong , mentally, with him. It's sad.

Put perfectly.. same here..burned in '04, '07 was obviously fake grins galore/waaay too much $$$, thats it. Like everybody on this forum I love VH but every since the '96 Hagar/Roth/Cherone debacle they SUCK and EVH is a fucking asshole, regardless of his legendary early material. Oh, and hang up the Wolfgang already..3k for a warmed over Peavey is a kick in the balls.

Ed still owes me $380 IMO. That was the cost of my non-refundable plane ticket to see them in Pittsburgh...a show that was postponed when he went into rehab. The rescheduled date didn't work for me so I lost out on both the airfare and the ticket price...another $120 (tough to sell a Pittsburgh ticket when you live in Denver ). Make that $500 he owes me

One of my students told me yesterday that he and his wife will see ACDC while on Vegas for their anniversary.. so I asked "hom much for THOSE tix?!?".. he said they weren't "too bad".. only 1K a piece!.. BUT HEY!!!.. THAT includes four hours of limo service to and from the show too!
