I watched it. Sounded like shit, couldn't hear Chris' solo all that great. And what was up with Dave's voice sounding like a little girl during the "now let the torture begin" part?!?

Yeah it was a Peter Brady "going through puberty" moment. I heard it and I busted out laughing. The sad part is he did it every time he sang that line...

I watched it and without looking up who is in the band these days I just assumed it was Dave Ellefson on bass, but I figured it wasn't as this guy wasn't effeminate enough.

Dave's voice sounded fine the rest of the song, so I think maybe he was censoring himself, maybe someone at the network didn't want him saying "now let the torture begin". Just my theory.

Everyone just admit it, they aren't what they used to be. Of course their still Megadeth and everyone still tries to respect them as Megadeth, but most of the charm is gone. RIP Dave Mustaine

The new guitar looked hideous. I wish he'd go back to BC Rich personally. Heck I wish BC Rich went back to BC Rich even, and when I say that I mean the BC Rich of the 1980s when they were cool, not the nut sack headstock of the 90s and beyond...

The bassist is James LoMenzo, who's been with them for a couple years. He's been in Black label society. But don't count him out as effeminate though as he also played bass in White lion! I think he fits better in deth than BLS, but I'd rather see Dave E.

BTW, it's either my computer speakers or they really turned up the bass in the mix.

Dave's new guit looks like its a 24 fretter which is sorta interesting for an explorer style (unless you counting it as a Kelly knock-off).. wonder how many times Dave's had to get a partial refret for playing in the 2nd position so much?!?lol
