  • Funny how it depends when you were born...

This kid who appologises for being "sloppy".. would have been a phenom
and "Rock God" if he would have been 13 when i was 13! (1967)
But today he is just one of a million sweeper/shredders.
I sometimes wonder what Guthrie Govan would have done to music at
    1969's Woodstock? LOL

didn't you have to write some killer tunes and make innovative music to be a "god" ?
maybe I don't know what I'm talking about but I think it kinda helps to have some credibility in the music world

He's damn good for 13 years old.

On a side not, I checked out the TTM Guitars website and looked at the artists page.

Check out the Girl Band about 1/4 of the way down. GREAT fucking name!!!!

I just checked out the band as well, and to be honest, I thought they rocked! Not really metal (the one clip I heard), more of a classic rock almost metal. Reminds me of an upbeat Runaways type sound.

Of course your right...i was just saying technique wise.. but put some of
these kids in a "Wayback" machine, and turn them loose during the Association' "Wendy" days and look out! When i was 13 i was killing myself to learn Purple Haze (just the main riff!

Yeah, of all the performers at Woodstock I think Alvin Lee impressed me the most. Plus he looks and sounds just like Vim Fuego.

I liked Alvin the best too. I wanted one of those Gibson signature guitars of his, but just too pricey for my blood ......... and ability.

If the right to own a model of guitar was predicated by playing ability I would have no right to own a Rhoads.
