I have no doubt this is a result of Yngwie asking for more money because that is what it always comes down to - it's a business. If Yngwie asked for more money than Dimarzio felt he was worth, the endorsement would be terminated. As far as Dimarzio is concerned I'm sure it's not a big loss. It's not like Yngwie is going to change his basic tone after all these years. People will still be able to buy the pickups he uses even if his name is not attached to them.Comment

I wouldn't be surprised if this was actually more of a result of Fender extending an offer to Yngwie to extend his sig line of gear into accessory items.. pickups etc..
