Fuck Nuno and his gay band. And fuck all the oafs missing the point here.

Yeah, it's always sweet when someone questions your intelligence despite having a poor grasp of grammar or spelling themselves.

I'll say it again for the oafs:

Nuno was never in a metal band. He has no "cred" with metal fans and never did, other than the fact he's a good guitar player. So, being in Rhianna's band, does not lose him any cred with metal fans. It's simple.

Jethro Tull are not gay, despite the fact their old keyboard player is now legally a woman.

I am not gay, although I find Nuno more sexually alluring than Rhianna, probably because he looks more like a girl.

Has anyone here seen Rihanna live at stage or on screen? I admit that her album has so much synths and electric drums that I get sick, but it's a lot better when she has a live band. On "Live in Manchester" there's even a synth/guitar battle!! I'd play that gig. That would be enormous fun...

well most pop bands sound totally different live than on the album, they all have the best musicians in the world so why not let them give some energy during the show... that goes even for Britney... I remember seeing her live concert on TV, some black dude playing EVH type leads then there was this crazy fusion/prog jam where the drummer with a huge set played odd time meters and the keyboard player was wanking crazy ass solos.

Now that's a gig I could handle....I'd be wanking more than my guitar.

Reviving a semi old thread but just caught Rihanna perform on American Idol with Nuno.
Aside from the genre itself typically not being our cup of tea, he did shred it up nicely. It's not all that bad, I mean it could be a lot worse heh.

Yeah! When she put on that guitar, I almost felt like punching her in the head like her old man did!

I was always in the pro-nuno-camp in this thread, but did this song suck or what? holy.....

nuno did fine on the solo, but the whole song would need tons more of nuno to make it good.

yeah, hated it as well when she put on the guitar. why even consider doing so if pick-scratching is all you're about to do?

I can't think of a better way to help finance personal projects (like Extreme perhaps) than by using his talents to make a good buck when the opportunity arises. That's what musicians do. Greg Howe played w/ Nsync and Enrique Iglesias; Andy Timmons played with Olivia Newton John,... etc,etc.... Nothing worng with using your talents to make a living...

bingo. it's funny how people get up in arms over this kind of stuff. the guy wants to play, it's his call not ours.

Plus I bet you he is hitting that hot azz of Rihanna, and I would let her pay me to play in her band, design her sig guitar, give her guitar lessons and put it in her fartbox too! Let's not forget guys, Party, pussy, paycheck! 1-stop shopping for Nuno here, God bless him!

As our dear Atomic Fruitbat once wisely said, "Don't sweat the petty stuff, just pet the sweaty stuff"! Nuno heard ya, Tommy!
