I prefer W.A.S.P in the 80's, specifically the "Headless Children" album.
I agree with everything you posted. Headless is an awesome album, and everything they've done since then has featured numerous recycled riffs and shit production.
Babylon is okay, miles better than the previous one which I thought was shit.

    I still love WASP though!

Cocaine Cowboys and Helldorado aren't vintage WASP. They were modern WASP trying to be vintage, and they didn't really succeed.
Mean Man is a fucking incredible metal tune though.

Yeah, WASP always had good drummers. Frankie Banali was a monster.

This was always one of my favourite Purple tracks, and they do a pretty good job of it IMHO -

IMO this is the best WASP album since Live in the Raw - it rocks, return to the form of early years and it hasnt come out of the car stereo yet. lol . There are more than a few real catchy numbers on here and youll be singing / grunting / mumbling along in no time (particularly to Crazy). Yeah, there are songs reminiscent of wild child, restless gypsy etc. but thats prob why I like it. (If Maiden and Quo can play the same 3 cords!). There are no velvet gloves, tearing off jeans, (m)animals etc but you cant have everything.lol .

I saw them live before xmas and they were awesome. Blackie still sounds great and, credit to the rest of the band, they played with real mojo. Some sweet notes coming from the lead guitarist.

Maiden play the same three chords? First time I've ever heard Maiden compared to Quo, or any other simplistic band like that. Are you having a laugh? Even Maiden's earliest stuff was more progressive than Quo (or WASP).

"Phantom of the Fucking Opera", "Genghis Fucking Khan" etc. Not to mention the concept album 7th Son of a 7th Fucking Son, "Rime of the Ancient Fucking Mariner" and "To Tame a Fucking Land"!
(No wonder that cunt Herbert banned them from using his stuff with language like that in the title).
And the reviled, but ultimately vindicated use of guitar synth on Somewhere in Fucking Time.

                      Status Fucking Quo?

there a quite a few songs that go E, C, D (gallup gallup or dum ti ti dum ) repeat or have the same structure.. arent there?
