To me, the solos fit the songs very tastefully...
It's not your job to be as confused as Nigel....

I saw Tom Morello playing with Springsteen(Ghost Of Tom Joad) and Morello's solos nearly killed me, they were so damn good. I think it was a RNR Hall Of Fame concert and Springsteen was playing his ass off, too.

            This one....

I think I enjoyed Springsteens solos more than Morello's. Morello is a nipple twiddler eh? That is one high worn guitar.

Vandenberg Kills!!! Unfortunately, I believe his best playing was in his days with his band Vandenberg.

Agreed! Whitesnake unfortunately held Vandenberg back and let Viv and Vai take the spotlight. I was lucky enough to see Whitesnake in concert and was only 5 feet away from Vandenberg! Killer player!

As for solos, there's just so many! I like all the above mentioned Rhoads and Lynch stuff. Those two guys are who really influenced me as a player.

Here's someone that hasn't been mentioned yet, Criss Olivia gave me chills on practically every solo he ever played!

Randy's solo on Tonight is the first one that comes to mind.

for Vandenberg, ever heard of Manic Eden?

it was Vandy, Sarzo and Aldridge and Ron Young from Little Caesar

Something to believe in is just about an amazing song, until Brett Michaels fucks up HARD at the end with his "yeah-e-ya-uh" I ALWAYS have my finger on the skip button when the is about to play
