I was on a Diary of a Madman kick earlier this week and listened to this song specifically and remember thinking to myself how awesome that solo was. He really did do solos that fit the songs like nobody else. Man I wish I could have heard what kind of stuff he just came up with off the cuff...

I read in an interview that they had to cut almost 2 minutes off the end of that song to fit it on the album. Would love to hear what they cut.
