I just saw that she's going to be on that Donald Trump apprentice show. I've never watched it, but I'll be shocked if she doesn't win. Those people have no idea who they're up against, except possibly Bret Michaels, and what's he going to do about it?

A friend told me that Ozzy had seen some great footage of him and Randy and that they were planning on releasing it. He told me this before NAMM and I hope its true. As for the documentary, as much as everyone loves to blame Sharon for everything she is not the reason for the hold up of the project. From what I understand, the Rhoads family is not too happy with it as it is currently. Hopefully it will be eventually released as I'd love to see that as well.
As for Ozzy's vocals in these tapes, I could care less. Don't get me wrong, I'm an Ozzy fan but lets face it this stuff is being released because Randy makes the footage not because Ozzy is on it

Slightly irrelevant, but I need to put this out in the open. Am I the only one who thinks that "Dee" is by far the worlds biggest fucking cunt out there? Anytime there is something new or interesting about to be released, it suddenly gets pulled and "The Rhoads family was not happy". Jesus Christ, he's been dead 20+ years, who gives a fuck? Give the fans what they want. He was good, yes, but he was just a guitar player, a man, not some fucking "God".

Sorry, but I have to disagree here. I think they are just very mindful of how Randy's name is used and I can understand that. They could literally put his name on anything they want knowing that it will sell. Hopefully the documentary will be eventually released and when it is I hope its done the right way cause there isn't a whole lot of Randy related stuff out there. What little there is should portray the man in the correct light as he so rightfully deserves. I only met his family one time, at NAMM this year. They seemed like down to earth people who just care very deeply about Randy. Very nice people. I did not meet Delores as she was not there due to health issues.

I can sort of see where you're coming from, but he was her baby and I can completely understand a parent doing anything to protect their child's name and legacy if they tragically passed away before them in their prime.

I think she has been very accomodating with the fans over the years.

Nope, never performed live, only a prerecorded version of Diary was played at the beginning of the Diary shows. The main difference between the Diary shows and Tribute is the inclusion of Over the Mountain and Randy's and Tommy's solos were sandwiched between a "new" piece called the "Band Jam". Not all shows were the same though... sometimes they would play No Bone Movies as well. I don't think they played it during the first Ozzy tour of the US in early 1981. The version of No Bone Movies on Tribute was recorded during the first UK tour in 1980.

Go to www.randyrhoads.tk and click audio. There's a ton of Bootlegs. The Diary shows from Milwaukee, Kalamazoo, and Chicago were board recorded so they're good quality. Randy was on fire in Milwaukee, so you might want to check that one out.

I would be excited to hear/see any randy rhoads stuff. With that being said, I would prefer it to be good quality. The last thing I want to spend money on is a crappy produced DVD or something that is truely a bootleg (someone snuck a camera into the show & recorded from the nose bleed seats of the arena).

I'm sure there is also some legal quagmires that the Rhoads family doesn't want to open in the future if they just through out everything Randy.

We all have a certain perception of the man & player. I'm sure the family is aware of this & wants to make sure the image of both are not trashed for the sake of a buck.

Rumor has it that it is a pro shot, multi camera video and it is NOT AfterHours (which is what I thought it would be). Hopefully it pans out!
