Thanks for posting this! The song is pretty decent, straight-forward rock. It reminds me a bit of early '90's Ratt with a little different production.

Pearcy has aged some but sounds like he's aged well compared to what he sounded like in Ratt's glory days. He's fared better than Don Dokken vocally over the years.

It sure is cool to hear Warren again on some new material.

I'll be looking to pick up this disc.

pretty good song, BUT I hate the sound of the recording...

the mix sounds like something anyone could do on their computer, and not put much effort in

Pearcy sounds great. So does DeMartini (as always). I'm glad to see Ratt coming out with something new. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for posting RichieP, I've listened to it about 10 times now. Somehow it sounds very dated with the drum sounds and overall mix. However, I love DeMartini's style and it's great to hear something new, I'm looking forward to the new album.

I can get used to shitty mixes, after all 'death magnetic' grew on me

If I'm reading their fan page right, the release date is Feb. 23rd. So I'm going to guess there will be a support tour - hope to see some of you knuckle heads there

mix is a little tinny, but i like it and it sounds like them. i wish metallica could have done that and sound like they used to, last two crappy mixed albums they did sounded like someone trying to rip metallica-like riffs.

Good thing - it probably took him 150x takes.

He's barely passable live, but hey, it's Pearcy. At least he's still doing it, as tone-deaf as he is. He was never known as the most talented guy out there, but he has a signature sound.

Love the track though - love the solo - definitely a "Detonator-ish" vibe to it. Looking forward to the full meal deal. Wish Juan would've came back.

I wonder if the mix sounds poor because of an intentionally lo-fi clip? Maybe Roadrunner put out a lower quality version of the single to fight piracy?

                    Just a thought.

Nope, the mix just sucks ass. Very amateurish. The drums aren't IN the band at all.

But it's not a disaster as the instruments themselves are recorded ok for the most part. A good mix engineer will make it sound kick ass.
It's a fixable "mistake". A lot trickier would be St. Anger. The mix is brilliant but the instruments are recorded with sounds which are hated by most metalheads. (I don't share that opinion though).

Good song. Horrible mix. It must be an intentional lo-fi demo. I can't imagine Ratt or Roadrunner would come out with something that sounds that amateur.

Sounded fine to me...leaps and bounds beyond anything else new I've heard on rock radio lately.

I liked that a lot. Going to have to pick up the album.

yep, Roadrunner is known for giving out albums which are over produced, bland and mediocre as hell. UG and lo-fi isn't their thing.
