Happy for Jr.... I hope Dave M is OK. He looks like poo in that roadrunner press release.

    That's right, you dumbass!

Let's look at the super-informative title you gave your thread: "Jr" :ROTF:

    Darrrrrrrrrrr!

Now look at this thread title.

If it's going to be a RUST IN PEACE tour, Marty should be playing. You can't be playing the new line-up on the RUST IN PEACE tour, that's stupid. What would be awesome is if Dave (and Marty I wish) used Jackons for this tour. :P

He's a great drummer, just seems a little bored at times. Mustaine says Shawn's also a great guitar player and probably one of the fastest ever.

Chris Broderick is definitely talented, and pulls off Marty's leads well live - no doubt about it, but his solos on Endgame just don't have the same melody and feel that Marty's did on RIP. Chris is fast and technical - but I think Marty's playing was much more melodic and appealing to my ear.

Myself and a few others have been listening to Chris long before Megadeth, (Jag Panzer) and he isn't just a speed demon/one trick pony. He is an monster musician! His classical playing is jaw dropping!

I'm personally looking forward to seeing Broderwick as well as Ellefson. From what I've heard on Endgame Broderwick is on his game for sure!

Yeah, it would be '90 all over again... (except for the go to hell part). I think Dave said in an interview that he had to teach Marty to be a rock star and that blue hair was not very metal

Chris Broderick is a great guitarist and by all means "faster" than Marty, but I just really think the leads that marty wrote were very good! and interesting! I don't really know anything Chris has written???? I know the bands he's been in, but.........

I've heard him say that too, but he seems to badmouth everybody who was ever in the band. They're the greatest ever when they were in the band. Then, when they leave, they are pathetic drunks who didn't contribute much. I can't say I hold him in very high regard as a human being, but he's a great musician.

Guys, from what I've read, LoMenzo was leaving. Not fired, was leaving. The fact that we haven't heard anything from him yet leads me to believe that there is some truth to the White Lion rumors that have been floating around the net for the past year. My guess is Vito finally committed to coming back and they'll be headlining a day/stage at Rocklahoma then touring.

I think this goes back to the writing and selection process for Endgame. None of James' ideas made the cut, he was told how to play the songs during recording....and all in all it just didn't best suit his style.
