I love that song....truly epic instrumental

However, the trench coat/dress that he so proudly displays in that video needs to go!

Gary has made some questionable fashion choices in his career, no doubt. But I can't cast stones because I have worn skin tight parachute pants with a silver jacket. And not just on halloween...

Thankfully I didn't have any friends into photography when I was in my metal fanboy dressing phase in the early-mid 80's.

Last time I spoke to his brother, I asked about the white Charvel, and apparently he's still got it stashed away. Wish he'd bring it out for old times sake.

Ive watched this 400 times! I use it for background, down just low enough so that My volume is 50% more...helps to hear the master keep
me on track ! I dont play it in the exact same position as Gary,
but its 95%! Love this vid. Plus, its cool camera work, before anyone
on MTV ever thought about it! He is a monster at emotion, and phrasing!
I put him in my top 5 of all time.. Empty Rooms" is another great song!

Speaking of Empty Rooms, here's the solo on his red strathead:

Probably one of the best solo's by Gary Moore I heard; this is clearly Gary on his heights. Heading to 1 million visitors of this video! UPDATE: today the sa...

I actually have a version on youtube myself. There are a few problems though. Number one: It's not well played and number 2: I use a bloody ESP.

I 've thought about doing a new version as my Jackson CS would fit better for the job. Same colour as on Gary's music vid and it has the sustainer.

                            Anyways here is my version:

Super job! I really liked your "Own" take at 3:03 Nice fill
My version sounds close, but im cheating and playing most of it
at the lower positions, and not bending up 1/2 steps like i should..
I need to learn it the proper way. Great "Hommage'!
