Check this out. My first date with my current girl was a Ministry/RevCo show. Third or fourth was a GWAR show. She spent the whole show in the pit with me. She even borrowed the new Sepultura I'd just picked up.... awesome chick, right?
Fucking false advertising.
Four years later she subjects me to the genius compositions of Britney, Shakira and Lady Gaga. All of which make me want to beat myself unconscious less than Coldplay. Then she complains that SHE has a headache when I restrain the urge to listen to Morbid Angel or Lamb of God and put on something lighter, ferinstance Megadeth's Cryptic Writings. Ugh.
You know what they say, "Can't live with 'em... go to prison if you mutilate their corpse." Or something like that.

LOL Thanks. I know she's not false advertising... well, at least I hope she doesn't change! I met her in a bar at the end of January. Somebody was doing karaoke to Poison... she yelled who would admit to liking Poison. I said to her maybe 20 years ago you did, and she said no, she doesn't understand how dudes could wear makeup and disliked most of the '80s hair bands and that she likes Slayer, Exodus, Testament, etc. 
Besides Overkill, her CD collection has Mercyful Fate, Whitechapel, Unearth, Slayer, Testament, Exodus, Metallica. She also really likes A7X which I'm not much of a fan of, but I guess they're not too bad. She's also 37 like me, but she looks like she's still in her 20s!

The wife likes the poppy crap, but whattayagonnado? But she did get us into the Black label show and was ecstatic that she did...till they started playing!
I'm used to having no one else like this style of music, that is outside of the friends I grew up with and the cronies on this board!
