FYI- For those living in the So Cal. Iron Miaden will be returning to So Cal on 6/19/10. Tickets on sale 3/20 10:am. Unfortunately they will be at Glen Helen. Probably the worst venue in So Cal.

It's worth it for maiden, but I stopped going to ozzfest 10 years ago because of the venue. What I remember most was 2 hours to get out of the parking lot at the end of ozzfest '97.Comment

I think its like that for every ozzfest!! Even in Mountain view Amphitheater, Ozzfest 2002 I think, it took a while to get out! But it wasn't 2 hrs for sure.

A bud just snagged us some tickets for MSG in July. I've seen Maiden several times in the past decade and they are simply amazing. I expect Dream Theater will be a more fitting opener for them than Arch Enemy was, though Angela Gossow and her crew did an excellent job.

I have faith that at the end of this tour they will swing back through So. Cal like in 2008. I only live an hr from Devore but no thanks. It is truly a shit hole. I went to a show back in the 90's. I saw no less then 5 drunken brawls and an OD death in the parking lot on the way back to the car. I took my 15 yr old daughter to the 2008 and show in Irvine and I would love to take her to this one but not at Devore. The surrounding area also happens to have the distinction of being the meth / stolen car capitol of So. Cal. I know this because one of my neighbors is a cop in that area.Comment
