If there was an older metal band that has made a successful came back,
for a lack of a better to say it, megadeth has filled those shoes.
The large success of End Game and then with a potential RIP tour on the horizon which is already proving to be a huge success and hasn't started yet.
They gotta be doing something right to have generated circulated this/that much interest. I'd like to see them and I'm not a big fan like many are.

Endgame sales have been about average from what has been posted over at Megadeth.com. "Critics" seem to be embracing it though, which is a good thing for Dave and co. after a decade of lackluster albums.

Also, the RIP Anniversary tour started March 1st. It ends on the 31st I believe in Hollywood.

Kirk Hammett is a FUCKING HACK compared to Marty Friedman. The fact you minimize what Marty does tells me you can't comprehend it. You must go by poses rather than chops in rating your guitar players.

Wake the fuck up! Dime was a great player, at the top of the level BELOW the level of guys like Friedman, Yngwie, Vai. He is on a lower level than those guys.

Kirk Hammett is several levels below Dime. If he weren't in Metallica he would be laughed at even more than he is now. I'd call him the C.C. Deville of thrash but C.C. doesn't deserve to be insulted like that.

Kirk is a punchline for wah overuse jokes, and has declined steadily since Master of Puppets, the one album where he got fairly interesting for a minute.
