Went to John mayer concert last Thursday...

Musically it was okay, pro sound, pro lightshow, pro performances. I like his bluesier stuff but the pop ballads aren't really my bag. My wife got me tickets for Christmas because I bought his "Where the Light Is" concert on blu-ray.

There was the most vajayjay I've ever seen at a concert there however. I'm guessing 70% women/girls out of a 13,000 crowd.

John Mayer is a really good pop song writer and a pretty decent singer. He knows how to play guitar but he certainly isn't anything remotely special. He is just a very basic blues player. I know the guy that gave him guitar lessons in Fairfield, CT.
I am a fan because he is a pretty cool guy and he doesn't pretend to be a great guitar player. He knows how good he is and he is constantly working to be a better soloist. I think he is getting better as a player. I wouldn't mind giving him lessons. Rattso gave him lessons for years. I think he took lessons from Chris Risola from Steelheart too. I gave lessons mainly in Westchester County. These guys had Fairfield County pretty much covered.
