you are most likely right as i was just being dumb, BUT having a song about eddie getting a BJ in the back of a '59 eldorado convert would be quite a departure for maiden....hahaha

Who thinks the new Album artworks sucks...

Maiden have lost a true Master of the Album sleeve, I know Derek Riggs lost it a bit in the mid 90s which is why they got new guys in to do the art for them..
But this latest creation is cheap, nasty and child like, Eddie looks completely wrong, bad anatomy on the hands (since when did Eddie have 3 fingers?)
No dynamic pose, no great back story to the narrative.. in other words it utter shit.. Maiden will never return to the glory days of album covers (Killers, Powerslave, Live after Death, Twilight Zone.. etc.

New song is ok I guess... nothing special.

I liked the single artwork - the comic book style thing. I think the cover for TFF light years ahead of Dance of Death, which was shite. But its like all things - new stuff ain't as good as old stuff - guitars, music, album covers. The only new stuff that's better than old stuff is porn.

On first listen it sounds different, (which is good, was getting bored of the same old picked bass intros of the last two albums. Overall its a bit like a b-side, it drops at the chorus. Artwork looks like it was done on a budget, a bad impression of predator or like the forest of doom book.

I dunno, I kind of liked the old porn where the tits were all real and the chicks were into it because it would get them free blow. Classics like Debbie Does Dallas, Sex Boat, Garage Girls.
