  • Finally got the new FOREIGNER cd

I know it's been out a while, but I just got today cuz it was on sale at Walmart for $10. I have to say that it's really good. The songs are catchy and very well produced. Most of all, I can't believe how much Kelly Hansen sounds like Lou Graham. Wow. Also, being such a huge Dokken fan, another reason I wanted to hear it was because Jeff Pilson is in the band. I was a bit surprised that he didn't contribute to any of the songwriting. Anyway, the band sounds great. Anyone else got this?

      Suppose so.
The music that's currently on most radio station and has been for awhile, is pitiful and much of the older acts will put out decent stuff.
      Why?
      1. Their musicians and know how to write songs.
      2. Musically speaking, woody woody pecker's carton theme song would sound pretty good these days.
Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Yeah, I don't even listen to the radio anymore. There's nothing that interests me. It's all cds for me.

I can't listen to the radio either. Every so often, I will listen to prog stations on the internet... unfortunately, there are none on XM (last time I checked anyhow).

Did they play any songs from the newest cd, perhaps the title track "Can't Slow Down," or was it just the classics?
