I`ve met Andy James a few times, he`s a really nice guy and one of the scariest shredders on Youtube! .. I had a jam with him a while ago and he destroyed me.

And Richard, that was a great solo, I love the Lynch flavoured licks you put in.. but managing to keep your own style too.

Thanks. The guitar is a MIJ 2002 model Charvel with Duncans (JB + Jazz). I'm actually playing through my computer and what you hear is coming out of the monitors behind me. I'm using the Line 6 Toneport with POD Farm amp simulation software. And I'm playing over the original "Kiss of Death" from Dokken.

Sure thing. Here we go:

First in line is Noise Gate. Threshold is at -66 db, and Decay at 6%.

Second is the amp, Solo 100 Head. Drive all the way to 11, Bass at 10, Middle at 5, Treble at 11, Presence at 8, and Volume at 7.

Third is Digital Delay. Time is 358 ms. Feedback 40%. Low 50%. High 50%. Mix 35%.

Last is Medium Hall reverb. Predelay 50%. Decay 56%. Tone 50%. Mix 61%.

And that's it. And remember that I'm using a Duncan JB in the bridge position.

As someone who loves classic Lynch, and cites him as a huge influence, I've gotta say that was awesome. I'd love to see you do something with Night by Night or Burning Like a Flame (two of my other favorites off Back for the Attack).

Thanks for that. I never use the SLO, for some reason I find it's distortion very buzzy, could be the custom in my RR1 doesn't play nicely with it. I always lean toward the plexi style heads or full on metal heads. Did you base this one off the "A-minor sweeps" preset?

I can't remember. When I first got it, I tried to go through all of the presets and when I found one I like, I'd tweak it and rename it, so I have no idea. It's possible though.
