  • Too much talent.

    Remember Testament?

    Remember Alex Skolnick's leads?

Well, now hear him play jazz version of popular rock/metal songs. This guy is insanely talented and I am quite envious.

    I like EL34s.

That clip just proves how truly different jazz players are from rock players. That was just god aweful. Stick to the rock side of the business Alex. Damn...
    Great bass player though.

Yeah, I don't get jazz trios. It's like 3 guys in a room all playing different songs at the same time.

Yeah, man, but when they all accidentally start playing the same groove, it's amazing.

Not a jazz tube from Alex but I really like this one... He is on fire during the solo!!! Looks so easy when he plays!

Practice What You Preach solo is where he seems to belong. Simply great.

The jazz stuff... I personally would pass. And I don't see him adding anything to it.

The lead singer playing air guitar on his mike stand was incredibly lame.

Picture him in a tux playing Christmas tunes, the only time I saw him was with TSO, and he was amazing then. Always a Testament fan though. My favorite will always be 'Sins of Omission.'

Chuck does that all the time, singers gotta do something during solos, right?

What's worse IMO is the poser horn he flashed right at the beginning :06-:07

Chuck Billy's air guitar prowess is the best thing about Testament.
