I liked Sword, not to be confused with The Sword (look up the song The Trouble Is) as well as Warlock a.k.a. Doro, TNT, Fates Warning and Savatage to name a few. I thought all those were great bands with great players and were terribly underated.

Here is one that is going to flame everybody here.
I think Nickelback is the most underrated band. Before them.. it was Creed.
Think about it.
Tons and tons of hits. Great production. Everybody hates them.
Go figure.

For all you young kids who weren't even alive then, Kiss got no street cred at all. Everybody hated KISS. Every one of the concerts and albums sold out and went double and triple platinum yet everybody hated them. It was all about Zep, The Stones, Aerosmith, The Who etc....
I got into a fist fight every week just being a KISS fan. I was outnumbered all the time.
Everybody though Ace sucked on guitar, Paul was gay, Gene sucked on bass, Peter was a lousy drummer and they wrote simple stupid no talent songs.
Who has the last laugh now suckas!!!
