Dramarama. A great live band with many great songs beyond their primary hit Anything, Anything.

It's a shame... I'd really love to like them, but I just won't get over this voice...
It's a Metal Opera. He plays all the parts. Listen to the THEM album and read the lyrics along with it. It will grow on you faster than you realize and you'll be the one saying this when someone else says "I can't get past the vocals".

I thought King Diamond was closer to the Chipmunks than to an opera, but I will give it another try.

I always liked the guitar work in "little one" for example, but as soon as Alvin gets his part...
The singer is alright as long as he stays in human range, but well... anyway...

          I'll just try once more.

Great White. very talented musicians and songwriters. very under rated. and NOBODY writes prettier songs about whores. There is no other band that embraces and celebrates the cheap whore like Great White does. think about it. I am right.

Yep, Mark was on the second VV album. It's funny, he sounds EXACTLY like the guy on the first album, Robert Fleishman, who used to sing for Journey before Steve Perry.

The Living End. They're one of my favorites and really popular in Australia, but never caught on in America. Chris Cheney ripps on guitar. If you ever get a chance, go to one of their shows. They're a superb live band!!!
