Whoa, I hope the rumor is true, now we need Mustaine holding a Jackson as well, Megadeth just doesn't look right without Jacksons... However, I'm very doubtful that Megadeth will sound anything like it used to be.

Apparently there was a scheduled Fan Club chat with Chris last night. He confirmed that he has a Jackson signature model coming out. Or so they're saying over on the Megadeth forums anyway.

Dave has some new Deans coming out supposedly. So won't see him back this year. Too bad, at least the other two folks in the band have some taste .

^ Thanks Brian for the info, and I totally agree on the taste part... All those Deans Dave is playing just look cheap imports to me, especially those with the cheesy graphics! (Contract constraints maybe?)
Meanwhile, let's hope Megadeth releases a better album with better vocal lines and more expressive guitar work and solos.

True, but still, the compositions lack severely in comparison to their older material IMO, and I really gave that album many listens . Let's hope the return of Ellefson would bring back some of that great work they've done years ago. And BTW, DM should stop releasing those hideous love songs of his, and leave them to Brian Adams or Chris Isaak or whatever cheeseball is out there...
