If the live album consists of only songs from On Through The Night, High & Dry and Pyromania, I'll buy it!

I guess you won't be buying it then.

I predict nothing from the first two albums, a couple from Pyro, and a lot from Hysteria.

Mark, their last cd was all originals. The one before that was covers.

Nope, I won't be buying. The last album of theirs I bought was Hysteria. I thought it was okay, but they just didn't hold my interest much after that.

I'll buy it if Vivian has a spotlight solo and cranks out a medley of his Last In Line, I Speed at Night, Rainbow in the Dark and We Rock licks.

I cringe at the sound of Joe live now.

I wonder if the vocals have been "fixed" in the studio.

Ditto. They seemed to have found a lifetime supply of "wuss pills" right after they finished Pyromania.

I've alway liked the stuff before Pyromania, since then not much...but is would be nice to Viv shred like he used to in the 80's

Hysteria was alright (though I admittedly have more love for the older stuff), but once Steve died...the band completely lost their minds. Even Adrenalize, which he helped write a few tracks on, was horrible. Listen to "Tear it Down" as a Hysteria B-side (with Steve) and on Adrenalize (with Phil, much as I love the guy, trying miserably to emulate Steve). They kept scrambling to find some niche to fill and failed horribly IMHO. And Joe never could really sing live, which has only worsened with age.

Joe sounds fine live, seen them twice in recent years and he did a good job, they all did.
I agree though, they lost their way since Steve died - Viv's brought nothing to the table.

I will buy it for sure. I enjoy hearing live band recordings over studio and I agree on Joe's voice isnt the greatest anymore but still sounds good.
