Yeah it's killer a couple familiar parts, one in the main riff and another in the solo, killer song - like it a lot!

This album is solid (about 4 songs in), guitar tone is killer, Joel sounds good too!

Evile is the greatest current Metal band - bar none - IMO of coarse.

I love them, seen them 3 or 4 times here in Toronto. I have to say, just being honest (no offense), I'm not a big fan of the first two songs they just released off the 3rd album (Cult & Eternal Empire) too modern Metallica and mainstream for my liking. But the first two albums are stellar, the epitome of what metal should sound like.

Hey Matt, what's different on your new Custom Shop you got coming in? I think I read somewhere (maybe on the Evile forum) that you were going to stick with only one knob, master volume? What else is different? Probably a regular headstock?

I'd like to re-post and update my original reply above. I just heard FST for the first time front to back in it's entirty and I have to say, my opinion has slightly changed.

I definitly take back my comments on the two songs mentioned above (Eternal Empire and Cult) after hearing these songs on the album I want to say they're killer! They're placement on the album are perfect and the album as a whole is nicly balanced - very impressed. And the guitar tone is killer, also enjoy the mix of each isntrument.

Hey Matt,

What amps and speaker/cabs did you guys use to record FST? Particularly the rhythm guitars, the tone is phenomenal IMO.

Matt uses EVH 5150III Head and Cabs and a right hand of doom.
