I got tickets to 2 local shows in August:
1. Nashville Pussy (my fav indie band)
2. Godsmack
I never expected to see Charvels in action.
One of NP's openers was a band called Dick Delicious and the Tasty Testicles. hahhaha The bassist played a well worn Charvel bass. It's been years since I've seen a Charvel bass in action. The other guitar player in DD played a Jackson Soloist. After the show I talked with these guys and they were way cool meeting a brethren Charvel and Jackson player. I got a sweet pic with them and their axes but I have no pic hosting site to share with all
At Godsmack show, the opener was Adrenaline Mob. They were incredible. Mike Orlando was the lead player and he was the most blazing shredder I've seen since I attended a Mark Rizzo show a few years back. What a performance these guys put on. Skilled players and entertainers. Their Charvels were So Cals HH and I believe they also played the new Desolation. I'm looking forward to their full length CD release early next year.
