hmmmm indeed...

I like the Thirt3en logo, but the dodgy cut and paste candles are a bit of a rush job plus the fact that the mascot is facing the opposite way is a bit boring.

I`m a full time concept artist and although artwork doesnt really matter to most people, I get a kick out of awesome album covers.

Agreed on the dodgy candles, but the artist did at least take the time to scale and rotate them a little so the flip wasn't TOO obvious so let's be grateful for that! You never know where the direction for album covers comes from so we probably shouldn't be too critical of the artist responsible - it's easy for a really good idea to get spoiled once half a dozen different folks have put their spoon into the soup.

And let's be honest, dear old 'Deth don't have the best track record when it comes to covers in recent times. If nothing else this is a giant leap forward from the United Abominations art!

It's not bad but not all that inspirational or eye catching either, in the great tradition of metal covers.

Hopefully its a great album. Looking forward to it.
And hopefully Dave will stop playing those shitty Deans and see sense.
