I actaully enjoyed the black album and everything else beyond that has been pretty much a failure until this. This was a complete failure. how many albums has lulu sold?

All I gotta say is wow. You think about the money that the record company has dumped into this atrocity then you look at their track record. Their record company has gotta be sitting here going "What the fuck are we doing carrying around this dead weight?

There is a couple of things that need to happen here.

1) Metallica needs to stop listening to their inner thoughts and trying to do something so completely out there. Because their ideas lately have been shit.
2) James needs to start a new addiction. Something... because, quite frankly his music was a lot better when he was drunk, drugged up, and stupid.
3) Kirk needs to take lessons and do something different. He hasn't budged in years, talent-wise. I think of him as the luckiest motherfucker ever.
4) Lars. Just shut the fuck up.
5) They need to collectively listen to other peoples music and see what works. I doubt that they have done anything like this is years. What are them youngin's doing these days?

They are a talented band but, they really need to get their shit together. They haven't done anything right in years.

I admit Reload and St. Anger were not the best but Load and Death Magnetic are great albums.

Metallica could start wearing pink tutus and play polka, still doesn't change the fact that they made Metal music acceptable and respectable.

You are 100% correct but, sometimes that formula stops working when you go too far off track. Listening to other people can bring you back home. Load...great... really? It had some ok tracks on it but one word.
