There is nothing metal in doing a Top 10 metal bands list, and there is nothing metal in arguing which band should or should not be on that list. Who cares if DT are #2? Or if some metal ubergods were not included?

I know which metal bands are top on my list, and that's good enough for me.

I must be the only one who likes that DT made number 2. I think they deserve it, being possibly the most musicly talented band in the world(IMO), and making metal progressive, it all makes sense to me. But its like coffee, youy either like it or you dont. I agree on the whole Tool thing, i dont see how they're on there(or led for that matter). I honestly think Metallica should NOT be #1, due to the fact, that they burnt out on being a "metal" band after '91(again IMO) now was Death Magnetic a good return to metal? Yes, but i dont think it was as good as Slayer's world painted blood or Megadeth's endgame. My #1 would either be Megadeth or Anthrax. Oh well, its rolling stone, who cares?
